Deglorash

Deglorash are the best known of the lesser-seen offshoot of warm-blooded reptiles on Kala, the four limbed family ultimately headed by Wyverns.

Range

The Deglorash live in the northern highlands of Kala-Tir, wintering in the mountain passes and valleys, safe from the fierce weather of the winter plains. They return to the highlands for spring birthing and summer feeding, with some more domesticated herds living year round near coastal areas.

Predators

The main threats to Deglorash in nature are the Krashnia and Gryphons, although the latter are only a threat in the southernmost part of their range. The predations of the Krashnia have led to a symbiotic relationship, the hunting cats of the western mountains often follow Deglorash herds, hunting the smaller reptiles while avoiding the 10-ton herbivores.
